Claude Code skillBrand book builder
Point it at a website. It returns a full brand book, a one-page summary anyone can skim, and a PDF you can send to a designer or a contractor.
A website in. A brand book out.
Most brand documents are a colour swatch and a logo file, which is no help the moment someone has to write a headline or lay out a page. A useful brand book makes decisions easier for the person representing the brand.
The skill reads a live site, pulls the colour, type, spacing and imagery logic out of it, then synthesises the personality and voice on top. Give it whatever else you have: a logo, an old deck, a tone note. It folds all of that in.
Three files, one run.
Everything is self-contained HTML, so it opens in any browser with no build step.
- A full brand book: colour, type, spacing, logo rules, imagery, voice
- A one-page brand summary for quick handoffs
- A PDF of the summary, ready to attach to an email
- Usage rules written as decisions, not descriptions
- Room for your own assets: logo files, photography, an existing deck
In order.
The more you hand it up front, the less it has to infer.
- Install the skill into your Claude Code skills folder.
- Give it your website URL, plus any logo files or existing brand material.
- Answer its questions about audience and positioning. It uses them for the voice section.
- Open the generated HTML, edit anything that does not sound like you, and share the PDF.
